Holders of a good Masters degree from a recognised institution will be considered for PhD study on an individual basis. Students who hold the Licenciado/Professional Titulo from a recognised Mexican university with a promedio of at least 8 will be considered for Postgraduate Diplomas and Masters degrees.

The taught components of the programme are delivered in the first two terms, leaving the third term and most of the summer to research, write and submit your business plan. Generally, we do not accept applications from students studying at Affiliate Colleges. For some institutions/degrees we will ask for different grades to above, so this is only a guide.

Undergraduate students can expect around 15 contact hours per week, depending on year of study and optional module choices made. The remainder of the working week consists of self-guided study based on degree programme content and requirements of specific modules. Many students who have studied in the Philippines have followed a 12 year education system. For admission onto an undergraduate degree programme, the University of Birmingham requires all applicants to have studied for 13 years, and therefore you may need to take a foundation year before commencing your undergraduate programme.

Holders of a Bachelors degree may be considered for entry to a postgraduate degree programme. Some international business graduates choose to study a Master of Business Administration , though work experience is typically expected before starting one of these programmes.
