The University will consider students who have taken GCE A Level examinations, the International Baccalaureate , or a suitable foundation programme, such as one of our Foundation Pathways, for entrance to undergraduate programme. Candidates who have successfully completed a three year Bachelor of Science, Arts or Commerce degree with very good grades will be considered for entry to the first year of relevant Bachelor degree programmes. Holders of the Bachillerato together with a recognised foundation programme, such as the Birmingham Foundation Academy, will be considered for entry to our Bachelor degree programmes. Applicants with grades slightly below these requirements may also be considered for an offer if they have a relevant Bachelors degree, good scores in relevant modules, or relevant work experience. Holders of the Título de Licenciado /Título de (4-6 years) or an equivalent professional title from a recognised Paraguayan university may be considered for entry to a postgraduate degree programme. Holders of the Licenciado or an equivalent professional title from a recognised Ecuadorian university may be considered for entry to a postgraduate degree programme.

The University will consider students who have achieved good grades in their High School Graduation Diploma with at least 5 university-preparatory level courses. For many of our programmes of study, students will need at least a B average, and possibly higher. Unlike many other courses, in addition to your ‘Placement Year’ in year three, you have the option to take an ‘International Semester’ during year two. This gives you the opportunity to study abroad for 6 months if you wish, cultivating your international experience, as well as a full year on placement.
